Blueface’s pregnant girlfriend Nevaeh Akira is setting the record straight after an edited interview leaves social media users believing she admitted to “selling p***y” while pregnant with her first child. However, after posting the raw, unedited version of her conversation, Akira clearly admits to “selling drugs,” not her body.

On Sunday (March 22), Akira appeared in a new interview with Briianna Lee Stephanie on her ‘Vibin’ With Brii’ podcast. A clip began going viral of Akira revealing her “real hustle” before and during her pregnancy with her son, Superior Shine. In the published and edited interview, Akira said:
“My real hustle, I was selling [bleep]. I was selling [bleep] always. You know go back home and do what I was supposed to do by provide. I did that while I was pregnant as well. My whole pregnancy with my son. You gotta take a risk to get a little rich. That was a hobby that I had to drop. I realized what came with that life and I knew that I was so attached to my son that I never wanted to be taken from him.”

Nevaeh Akira Clears Rumors About ‘Selling P***y’ While Pregnant, Says She ‘Sold Drugs’
With the bleeps in the interview, social media began speculating as to what Nevaeh Akira really said. Eventually, social users began claiming she said “p***y.” However, she quickly took to her Instagram account to clarify that she did not sell sex while pregnant. She admitted she was selling drugs. In a video, she said:
“Never sold p***y while I was pregnant. I said I sold [d]rugs. And I had her bleep it out. She must have edited it f***king bad. So, at the end of the day—I never sold p***y while I was pregnant.”
In another Instagram Story post, Akira wrote, “Now clear that up.” She then took to her Instagram feed with a raw version of the conversation, in which listeners can hear her say “drugs.” She captioned the post, “NEVER SOLD NO 🐱 WHILE PREGNANT! Here’s the clip. She must’ve edited wrong, but here y’all go. Clear the fcking rumors.”
Akria later issued another statement about her upbringing and “hobby.” She said:
“I’m a trench ghetto country bumpkin gatsby baby, what do you expect? Where I’m from we don’t have streets to walk on, girls that have fathers that sold rugs we follow our fathers foot steps especially when they was taken by the Feds at a young age. If you from where I’m from you know what it’s like, you either sell rugs or strip! So to my hometown girls that gotta get it by any means. & free all my people in the Feds that had to take big risks to get rich! Rip my brothers.”

Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, also chimed in. She reposted the clip to her Instagram feed and wrote, “Y’all need to stop playing with people! This girl was not selling no cat while pregnant. Y’all so damn dirty for this.”
Eventually, the interview host, Briianna Lee Stephanie, chimed in to clear the air as well. While reposting a text thread that Nevaeh Akira originally posted, the interviewer wrote, “Like damn y’all take the sh*t and go crazy.” The text thread showed Stephanie telling Akira that she told her editor to “bleep out drugs like you asked.” She added, “I get how it looks and I’m sorry. I will make a post as well.” The host shared another IG Story that read:
“NEVEAH NEVER ONCE SAID SHE WAS SELLING P***Y Y’ALL ARE SO STUPID AND SMALL MINDED ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY FR. Y’all will take anything and run with it, I bleeped out the word ‘drugs’ due to not needing that word on my podcast. Leave that girl alone fr.”
