A flight attendant miraculously survived after she was ejected from an Air Canada aircraft during a crash at LaGuardia Airport.
According to PEOPLE, the crew member was seated in the forward jump seat when the aircraft collided with a fire truck on the runway. After impact, the jump seat was reportedly ejected from the plane. She was later found still strapped into the seat.
Officials say she suffered injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Her current condition has not been fully disclosed.

The flight, identified as Air Canada Flight 8646, was traveling from Montreal to New York City. Reports state there were 72 passengers and four crew members on board at the time of the crash. Emergency crews responded quickly after the aircraft collided with the fire truck on the runway. A total of 41 people were transported to area hospitals following the crash.
Authorities later confirmed that 32 of those individuals have since been released.
Two Pilots Killed in the Crash
Officials confirmed that both pilots died as a result of the collision. The identities of the pilots have not been publicly released. Additionally, two individuals who were inside the fire truck involved in the crash were transported to a hospital and are listed in stable condition.
Investigators are continuing to review the circumstances of the aircraft’s collision with an emergency vehicle on the runway.
