This episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues in Italy. Sutton makes a choice to support Amanda and Bozoma gets called out for shading Amanda and her business. Kyle finds herself in the hot seat with a defensive Dorit, once again. Can their friendship ever get past the combativeness or is it too far gone?
Sutton is making it known that she is on Amanda’s side. She confesses to Amanda that in the car on the way home yesterday, Erika ChatGPTed Amanda. Erika was clearly trying to find a problem with Amanda and this mean-spirited behavior is not something Sutton wants to be a part of.
Sutton tells Amanda that she did try and step in, but when Boz got her phone out to make a comparison of her life to Amanda’s, it seemed like it went too far. Amanda proceeds to ChatGPT herself to prove she is no scam artist. According to Amanda, 80% of people she works with are happy customers. Amanda is annoyed because she is the bread winner and her career is her livelihood. Sutton suggests Amanda talk things out with Boz.
In the meantime, Kyle is aghast that Natalie lied to her the night before. She liked Natalie, but can’t get over this behavior. The cameras don’t lie and Natalie clearly said what she said.
Kyle goes on to air her grievances with Dorit’s perpetual lateness and her early departure last night. AND, when Dorit finally did get to the table, she was texting the whole time. Kyle explains she is worried about Dorit’s behavior.
Some of the group takes bikes while the rest hop in a van and head to the winery to stomp some grapes. Kyle and Erika are prepping for some alone time with Dorit. Perhaps now they will be able to talk to her about recent behaviors. However, Dorit is late. She is holding up the whole show once again and Kyle and Erika are getting antsy waiting around.
Rachel is unsure about this whole grape-stomping thing, but in she goes, sharing a bucket with Boz. Post-stomping, Natalie explains her feelings about the night before. According to Sutton, talking about Amanda wearing a mask is not funny. She also points out that no one called Boz a liar. Sutton feels like people just fall in line with Boz, and Boz continues to deny saying it.
Amanda wants to know why Boz was looking to sabotage her via ChatGPT. Boz explains her findings included information about Amanda being “the money queen” and then a “bunch of criticism about” her. Amanda then rattles off a bunch of stats until Rachel calls her out for killing the vibe. Boz wants Amanda to talk about the heart of her company, rather than going into defense mode. In Boz’s eyes, Amanda just looks insecure.
In her confessional, Amanda gives Boz a taste of her own medicine. When Amanda ChatGPTs Boz, the same comments Boz slams Amanda about are being said about Boz!
Sutton explains that she supports Amanda and Boz suggests that Amanda bring the wall down. “Amanda thinks she’s the Beyonce of business,” but her guard is up because of the way the women are dragging her.
Kyle and Erika have invited Dorit out for some gelato…and a private conversation. This ruse to get Dorit out there is awkward and Erika breaks the ice. She wants Kyle and Dorit to resolve their issues, but Dorit didn’t even know there was anything going on between them. Dorit calls Kyle out for calling her OCD and for bashing her excessive lateness. Kyle says that erratic was too strong of a word, but when Boz mentions Dorit is in a dire situation about finances, what is Kyle to think?
Erika calls Dorit out for being defensive, but Dorit says that her friends are now coming at her. Dorit tells Kyle outright that she does not trust her, but she DOES trust Boz. Dorit points out that she never went behind Kyle’s back to express concern over her drastic changes, so why is she picking on everything Dorit is doing?
Kyle refuses to be singled out when everyone is doing and saying the same thing about Dorit. Dorit does not want Kyle to deflect by bringing her other friends into the ring when her real issues lie with Kyle.
Dorit begs Kyle to show her some grace, but Kyle wants to know why Dorit is getting so defensive. Dorit feels like Kyle has a hard time showing support, but Kyle reminds Dorit that she is also separated, too. When Erika tries to interject, Dorit goes off. She essentially wants Erika to shut up and tells them both to go f*ck themselves. She storms away from the ambush, hops into the van, and leaves Erika and Kyle stranded for 26 minutes.
Erika is hoping that the other ladies tell Dorit the reality of the situation rather than just telling her what she wants to hear. The last time Erika had a falling out with Dorit was in Hong Kong about 8 years ago. I guess history repeats itself.
Kyle and Erika debrief the group once they return from grape stomping. Kyle explains that everyone shares the same sentiment about Dorit and everyone has noticed her behavior. Boz does not appreciate getting dragged into Kyle’s issues and Rachel shares that she has only known Dorit for two months, but she assumed Dorit has been like this forever (aka-leave me out of this!).
Later, on the way to dinner, Dorit hears from Rachel. Kyle was saying that everyone in the group feels the same way about Dorit and now Dorit realizes that Kyle is essentially trying to drive a wedge between Dorit and whoever. Kyle claims she is a good friend and is annoyed because Dorit is only mad at HER and no one else. It is clear that Dorit only has a problem with Kyle. Rachel states that the “friendship” between Kyle and Dorit sucks. Amen.
Dorit is now acting like Kyle and Erika are invisible, which is making dinner…awkward. Sutton shares that she is dropping her son off for his freshman year of college and that brings her all the feels, since he is her youngest. Kathy proposes a toast to Boz for a beautiful trip, but Kyle jumps in to acknowledge what occurred earlier. In the words of Boz, “oh Lord, here we go.”
Dorit says she left because it didn’t feel conversational. She stated that instead, it felt deflective. Rachel makes it clear that she gets frustrated with anyone who is late. Even though she has referred to Dorit’s lateness as “Dorit time,” it’s nothing she hasn’t said to Dorit’s face.
According to Dorit, Kyle never brings her issues to Dorit herself. Kyle tries to explain it away and claims she doesn’t care about Dorit’s spending. Boz can see that Kyle is looking for support for her opinions, but it’s not working very well. They yell about spending and Kelly bags and clearly, as a wise Rachel Zoe once said, this friendship sucks…
