A source claimed that Taylor Frankie Paul’s recent legal victory could lead to Secret Lives of Mormon Wives resuming filming – though there’s still one thing standing in its way.
Back in February, incidents reportedly occurred between Taylor and her ex Dakota Mortensen. Police conducted investigations amid claims that she was physically abusive. But earlier this week, prosecutors shared that they won’t be filing criminal charges against her. Though the details aren’t completely clear, both Taylor and Dakota were granted temporary restraining orders against one another, and Taylor reportedly lost custody of their child for the time being.
Amid past police investigations, SLOMW was put on pause because castmates were concerned about filming. ABC later cancelled Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette.
According to a source speaking to TMZ, Taylor’s legal victory could lead to the show’s return – and Taylor wants in. The insider claimed that her victory is a major step toward SLOMW potentially returning to film.
However, there’s still a third-party investigation – and it isn’t yet clear how far the investigation has gone.
Per the source, Taylor is only focused on resolving custody of her child, as she understands her actions and is now working on matters that are personal – but she hasn’t said no to SLOMW or anything professionally.
The insider shared that, until the fate of SLOMW is determined, there won’t be any movement on whether The Bachelorette will air.
On Easter, Taylor told fans how she’s doing.
“I got chills today when I realized it’s been 40 days exactly today in this frantic state,” she said on Instagram. “The last 40 days felt like hell on earth. … Through every panic attack, I prayed for strength as I could feel my body breaking down and out from the distress of it all.”
“And [God] sent … so many undeniable signs saying ‘I am with you’ which I can’t wait to share that part,” she went on. “I’ve prayed since I was young and never strayed away because I believe he wants us to ask for help, especially during our lowest points. However, instead of just asking I switched over to thanking him at the end of each day no matter how low I felt.”
