Lil’ Kim has been spotted with her ex-boyfriend, Tayy Brown, after he recently apologized to the rap legend for “regrettably” bashing her online. During his apology video, he also begged for her forgiveness and for her to take him back. Did she grant his wishes?

As we previously shared, the two first sparked romance rumors back in February 2024. At the time, reports broke claiming Kim, then 49, was dating her label artist — Tayy Brown, who was then 24. By April 2025, the romance turned sour as Brown began calling out Queen Bee, exposing their relationship, romance issues, and more.
A year later, Brown went public again — but this time to apologize for actions against Kim. While taking to his Instagram Live, Brown said, “I’ve been trying to rebuild that relationship with her for a while now, and gain her trust back, and her love back, and that’s gonna be forever. It’s something I gotta work on. That’s just a part of relationships.”
Brown explained, “I felt like because I disrespected her publicly that I need to also, in addition to our private conversations, apologize publicly.” He continued to reveal that last year was “one of the roughest years [he’s] ever faced in [his] entire life.” He continued to admit:
“I was ashamed. I was ashamed of myself when I did the sh*t. I’m still ashamed of myself. Not to make it an excuse, during that I was struggling from a very heavy drug abuse an alcoholism. I wasn’t really in my right mind. I went to rehab, followed by an attempt on my life. Spent some time in jail. And I feel like the first thing I wanted to make right was me and Kim, and what I did to her. It’s something that I never, ever wanted to do. But, I did it and I’m facing that.” Brown continued to send a direct message to Kim stating, “Kim, I can’t tell you how apologetic I am for doing that. That’s not who I am at all, and I’m incredibly ashamed of myself. I said a lot of things that weren’t true. ‘Cause hurt people hurt people. It’s one of the greatest regrets of my life. And I’ll always have to live with that. But, I love her so much and I didn’t show that. That’s something I want to make right. Hopefully, one day she can find it in her heart to forgive me. I want to prove to her that that’s not the man I truly am. That’s it. I f***ed up. I f***ed up, terribly. I want my baby back. I want my girl back. And it’s gonna take some effort, but if that’s what I have to do, that’s what I have to do.” He added, “This is my apology to fans as well. I wouldn’t forgive me, honestly, but. That’s what I need.” He added, “Me and her are in a better place. I don’t know if she’s completely forgiven me.”

Lil’ Kim And Ex Tayy Brown Spotted At Boxing Match After He Apologizes For Bashing Her Online
A day after Brown apologized to Kim, the “How Many Licks” rapper reacted. She simply reposted a part of his lengthy apology video — the part where he begs to get back with her. Over the clip of Brown begging for Kim to come back to him, she simply put the sad face, head down emoji: “😔.”
A little over a week after Tayy Brown’s apology, cameras caught him sitting next to Lil’ Kim at a boxing event. On Friday (April 17), Kim attended the boxing bout between Alycia Baumgardner and Bomire Shin. During the event — which took place at Madison Square Garden’s Infosys Theatre — Kim even walked out, rapping, with Baumgardner.
Later during the boxing match, Kim jumped up out of her seat to shout and root for Baumgardner. And when the camera panned, it caught Tayy Brown sitting right next to her enjoying the event. Since attending the boxing match together, neither Kim nor Brown have addressed their joint appearance nor have they confirmed any reconciliation of their romance.
