Jesse Lally’s girlfriend Lacy Nicole shared the shocking reason she sent a legal letter to two women on The Valley – and explained why she didn’t film last season.
At last year’s reunion, host Andy Cohen was upset that . Lacy chose not to film. But the Orange County resident agreed to shoot for the new season, despite certain castmates’ animosity toward her. In a recent episode, Jesse’s ex Michelle Saniei and her friends suggested that the legal letter was unnecessary.
In a post to her Instagram Stories, Lacy shared why she actually sent the letters – as she claimed she has emails, texts, and “proof to back it up.”
“Cause I hate when people lie, and then a lie becomes the truth,” she said, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “Last year, Jesse and I had been dating like, I don’t know, six weeks, and production reached out and was like, ‘Hey we’re gonna start filming season 2. Do you [want to film?]’ … I said no for an array of reasons.”
“My mental health wasn’t the best. I had just lost my grandma. I had just lost three of my best friends,” she explained. “I had just gone through a divorce. I’m a single mom. And we were just newly dating with kids. … Historically, if you date on a reality show, the couples break up.”
But as they were filming last season, Lacy got calls from “people on the cast” or people “involved.”
“[They were] telling me, you know, what’s being said about me behind the scenes,” she said. “I got a phone call that two of the girls were saying that they heard a rumor that I left a birthday party and drove under the influence with our children.”
“First and foremost, this wasn’t true,” she continued. “So I pulled the security camera from the party and the guard gate where we were at. And I said, ‘Look this isn’t true. You can’t say that on camera.’ Not to mention that could negatively impact my custody of my child. It could negatively impact my career, being accused of a felony. … I’ve never been arrested for a felony.”
Lacy said this is a “ridiculous accusation” for a mom to “make against another mom.”
“And so I asked for it to stop,” she said. “I asked via text twice, and I was met with, ‘We can say whatever we want about you. This is what you signed up for.’ So yeah, I sent the letter, and I stand by the letter.”
