Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley are seen facing off in a sneak peek at the upcoming third installment of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion.
As Andy Cohen, 57, attempted to mediate, growing frustrated with Dorit, 49, in the process, Erika, 54, explained what Dorit did that hurt her the most, reprimanded Dorit’s manner of speaking, and revealed what set her off during the cast dinner as Dorit accused her of turning into someone she didn’t recognize.
“What were you very hurt by?” Dorit asks in the preview clip.
“Something you said to me at the table … You said, ‘Why are you doing this to save yourself? You’re doing this to save yourself,’” Erika replies, confirming Dorit’s suggestion that she turned on her to save her role on the show was what hurt her “the most.”
“You can call me a c*nt all day. That doesn’t really hurt,” Erika admits. “Out of everything else, that was the one thing that turned me completely out because it’s not true and because it’s hurtful. That touches such a tender point in all of us when you’re trying to be open and vulnerable, when you’re trying to tell your story, but yes, that is something that does not sit well with me then nor now.”
After Dorit tells Erika that she has to understand where she was coming from and Erika attempts to say that she does, Dorit cuts her off, stating, “I let you speak.”
“First off, don’t,” Erika replies.
“Don’t what?” Dorit asks.
“Don’t talk to me like that,” Erika says. “[Stop] talking over me. Let me finish how I feel … That is exactly why I’m in the position I’m in, or how I feel, and that’s it.”
Once Dorit tells Erika that she “unleashed” on her, Erika agrees that she did before noting that what set her off was a comment Dorit made about Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 49.
“I’ll tell you when I f*cking lost it: You said, ‘Boz has supported me more than anybody in this group,’” Erika shares.
“That hurt you?” Dorit asks.
“Beyond,” Erika confirms.
Firing back, Dorit suggests that she understood where Erika was coming from since Erika had said the same thing to her and Kyle Richards, 57, during a past season.
“I was hurt, very hurt by that,” Dorit recalls.
Once Andy notices that Dorit had seemed to come to a place of understanding, he asks her if she’d like to apologize for the way she made Erika feel.
“I’ll say it again: Apologize for what, Andy?” Dorit replies.
Becoming annoyed, Andy explains, “She’s saying that it made her flip when you said she was doing that for her job, so do you want to apologize for saying that?”
“I did,” Dorit insists.
But both Andy and Erika are left confused, asking, “You did?”
“I did,” Dorit states. “I said, ‘Erika, had you told me,’ I said, ‘I would’ve understood that.’ I said, ‘I’m sorry.’ I would have understood had you told me, both of those things I would’ve understood, and I’m sorry that I made you feel that way.”
Dorit then accuses Erika of switching up on her overnight.
“I did not understand how you were one person up until the night before at 3 in the morning, and not even 12 hours later, there was a completely different person,” she alleges.
“No, Dorit, this had been bubbling and building,” Erika responds.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 reunion concludes Thursday, May 7, at 8/7c on Bravo.
