Dorit Kemsley is opening up about the current status of her fractured friendship with Erika Jayne and it sounds like the fallout is still hitting her hard.
After a tense season of drama on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, fans watched Dorit and Erika’s longtime friendship completely unravel during Season 15. And while the two Bravo stars still are not on speaking terms, Dorit is making it clear she has not given up hope.
During a recent Talk Shop Live appearance, Dorit got candid when asked whether she believes she and Erika will ever reconcile.
“Will Erika and I make up? I really hope so,” Dorit shared. “I can’t imagine that we don’t.”
The RHOBH star reflected on just how much history the two women share and admitted their falling out has been painful.
“Erika and I have so much history. We have so much. I love her,” Dorit explained. “And I know she loves me. And gosh, it’s so heartbreaking when you have a falling out, and it’s intense.”
Dorit ended the conversation on an emotional note, admitting she genuinely misses her former bestie.
“I don’t see a world in which we don’t,” she said of a reconciliation. “But you’d have to ask her. As far as I’m concerned, I certainly hope so. I miss her. I really miss her.”
Unfortunately, Jayne’s recent comments suggest the two still have a very long way to go.
While appearing on Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap back in March, Erika revealed that absolutely nothing was resolved between her and Dorit at the RHOBH reunion.
“We don’t speak! No!” Jayne said bluntly. “Nothing got resolved. But I said it wouldn’t. So no.”
The Pretty Mess singer later hinted there are still unresolved issues beneath the surface when discussing Kemsley alongside Kyle Richards during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
“Kyle and I have known her the longest. We’re trying to tell her something,” Erika explained. “What I have with Dorit is very different.”
She also admitted she was deeply hurt by the situation.
“I’m very hurt, and I would like to speak with her privately,” Kemsley shared. “And I don’t want to give anything away that we talked about at the reunion.”
Fans also noticed the tension earlier this season when Erika skipped Kemsley’s book cover launch party following their explosive fight in Italy. Still, Erika later admitted she hopes they can eventually find their way back to each other.
“I look forward to celebrating with Dorit when she has her book out,” Erika said during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. “Hopefully we are all in a better place. I want to celebrate that with her.”
She continued, “I do believe in my heart, as I sit here today, that Dorit and I will work it out some way, somehow.”
For now, though, it appears RHOBH fans will have to wait and see whether one of Beverly Hills’ closest friendships can actually survive the drama.
