A great trailer has been released for the five-part docuseries Knight Rider: Declassified, starring David Hasselhoff, who played Michael Knight in the show, as well as Edward Mulhare, Rebecca Holden, Patricia McPherson, Peter Parros.
The doc even features interviews with 99 year old actor Williams Daniels, who voiced the classic car K.I.T.T. in the show.
The doc dives into the history of the series, and what it was like to make such an action-packed hour-long drama in the era before CGI, when stunt actors were putting themselves in danger week by week for the incredible shots to up the ante of their TV show competitions.
The doc’s synopsis reads: “A 5-part, 5-hour documentary premiere event featuring new, never-before-seen interviews with the cast, creators, and crew who brought the iconic series to life.
“From the creation of KITT to the untold realities behind the scenes and the legacy that followed, this is the most comprehensive look ever produced at one of television’s most enduring legends.
“The final interviews are already scheduled and entering production this summer, continuing to expand the Knight Rider legacy. This limited edition Blu-ray will only be available here – never sold anywhere else, never reissued. When it’s gone, it’s gone forever.”
