Lionsgate has released a brand new Boneyard poster for its newest action crime thriller, starring Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Mel Gibson.
Besides Jackson and Gibson, the poster also spotlights House of Wax star Brian Van Holt’s character Detective Ortega. The film is scheduled to arrive in select theaters on June 5, 2024. It will then be available on electronic sell-through (EST) and VOD, starting on July 2, 2024.
What to expect from Boneyard?
“When the skeletal remains of eleven women and girls are discovered in the New Mexico desert, an extensive investigation is launched,” reads the official synopsis. “Inspired by true crime stories, this chilling crime-thriller follows Police Chief Carter (Jackson), Detective Ortega (Van Holt), and Agent Petrovick (Gibson) in a multi-agency effort to identify and apprehend the killer. As each of their agendas and methods clash, a tangled web of intrigue casts suspicion in all directions.
Boneyard is directed by Asif Akbar from a screenplay he co-wrote with Vincent E. Mcdaniel. The film also stars Nora Zehetner (The Right Stuff), Michael Sirow (The Wrath of Becky), Weston Cage (Darkness of Man), Spice Williams-Crosby (Star Trek V), Gabrielle Haugh (jeepers Creepers III), Brenna Marie Narayan (Red Notice), Lilo Baier (Class of 1970), Randall J. Bacon (Parallel), Vincent E. McDaniel (Walker: Independence), and more. The action thriller is produced by Colin Bates.
