Franky Wah has been robbed in Ibiza, the English house music star revealed this week.
Taking to social media, the DJ said his laptop and bags were robbed on the island. Wah called on his fans and music contemporaries in the area to help him locate his belongings and their captor, offering a reward to anyone who can aid in locating the stolen belongings.
“Everything’s been taken,” he said in his video. “It’s got so many irreplaceable items in there. All my music, my laptop, everything.”
Many of Wah’s fellow artists showed their support online, like techno icon Carl Cox and superstar dance music duo NERVO.

Wah is currently in Ibiza for his SHÈN residency at Club Chinois, with a Madrid stop to follow. In 2023, he released a nine-track album called Road to Ibiza, in which he soundtracked his 16-week residence on the fabled Spanish party island.
He provided an update on the theft less than 24 hours later and said none of the items had been recovered, but his team has been actively tracking them down.
“Of course I have a lot of my music backed up but there’s also lots of projects and ideas that aren’t, hours, weeks, months, years of work,” he said, “which I’ll have to work relentlessly now to recover in time for my shows this weekend.”
