AllAboutTRH shares the truth behind Frank Catania’s claim that OG Teresa Giudice has been asked to leave RHONJ before reboot.
RHONJ’s Frank Catania appeared on a recent episode of “The Lisa Alastuey Podcast,” where he made a bold claim about Teresa Giudice‘s future on the franchise.
“I’ve heard the same [speculation] about Teresa being asked to leave, as opposed to being fired,” Frank alleged.
“But it’s a shame because, you know, I see Teresa landing someplace,” he added. “Because Teresa, across all the franchises, is probably the most recognizable ‘Housewife’ in the world.”
For years, rumors have circulated that Teresa was leaving the Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise, but she has always denied the claims.
On the podcast, Frank noted that he definitely sees Bravo rebranding the RHONJ franchise for season 15.
“I suspect that they are going to be dropping off some people and bringing additional new people in as well as keeping some people on,” he theorized.
“You can’t continue the way we’re doing it now because right now it is basically two separate shows.”
“You got a reality show where half the cast can’t — won’t film together with the other half of the cast. How are you supposed to have a reality show?”
Meanwhile, Frank also claims that Teresa has changed in recent years.
“She’s changed. In my opinion, she has changed since [her husband] Louie’s been around,” he said. “She’s just not herself. Not the Teresa I grew up with.”
Frank blames the change in Teresa and the nasty dynamics among the RHONJ cast on the OG’s husband, Louie Ruelas.
“There have been such angry, angry arguments in this show, and it has never, ever gotten to the point it has gotten to right now. And the only thing different is Luis,” Frank said at the RHONJ season 13 reunion.
AllAboutTRH can report that Teresa has NOT been asked to leave RHONJ. To date, Bravo has not made any casting decisions about the franchise’s future. Sources tell us that it is doubtful that Bravo will make any casting decisions in the next few months as they take the potential reboot seriously and want to handle it carefully to ensure the franchise’s success.
Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t expected to return for season 15 until late 2025 or early 2026.
