The warm, escapist dance music of RÜFÜS DU SOL will soon return to soundtrack our lives after the band announced a new album, Inhale / Exhale.
Scheduled to release October 11th, Inhale / Exhale is the group’s fifth studio album and first since 2021’s scintillating Surrender.
Featuring 15 tracks, the record “encompasses the themes that have endeared fans for over a decade—romance, heartbreak, euphoria, despair—through a medley of sprawling, mature soundscapes,” according to a media alert shared with EDM.com.

RÜFÜS DU SOL also released a new single, “Break My Love,” the third to release ahead of the album following “Music is Better” and “Lately.” The impassioned dance track dials down the tempo of its house-fueled predecessors to deliver a languid, slow-burning ode to stubborn love.
The lyrics dance delicately between surrender and defiance, capturing the intoxicating pull of a love that refuses to let go. “You can’t break my love / It’s yours to take, we got more to make / You can’t shake my love / It’s here to stay, we will find a way,” croons lead singer Tyrone Lindqvist.
