Just days after Diddy’s arrest on Monday night, surveillance video capturing the moment he was taken into police custody has been made public.
The footage, obtained by TMZ, shows the business mogul being approached by federal agents in a NYC hotel lobby. The clip features Diddy walking in with a group of friends before being escorted away by authorities. Although Diddy had traveled to New York City intending to turn himself in, it was evident that he and his crew were caught off guard as he was led away in handcuffs.
Diddy has since pleaded not guilty to charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution, and he remains in a Brooklyn federal jail.
Combs’ lawyers initially offered a $50 million bail package — using his mansion as collateral — in exchange for releasing him to home detention. However, his bail was denied twice. A federal judge decided Wednesday that Combs should continue to be held without bail following an appeal from his legal team.

Mr. Combs has been accused of using his “power and prestige” to induce female victims and male sex workers into drugged-up, elaborately produced sexual performances labeled “Freak Offs” that entertainer allegedly arranged. He was also accused of participating in them as well recording the sessions.
Furthermore, the indictment alleges he coerced and abused women for years, with the help of a network of associates and employees, while using violent acts including kidnapping, blackmail, arson and physical beatings to keep victims from speaking out.
So far, Mr. Combs has denied wrongdoing.
