Selena Gomez made headlines over the Fourth of July for spending Independence Day with boyfriend Benny Blanco, but it doesn’t look like everyone is a fan of the producer and songwriter. Showing off her sundress style and her swimsuit body in a string of Instagram photos, the 32-year-old had a fan feed on the platform reposting her snaps, with the collage showing her in both her daywear and swimwear looks. Looking sensational as she channeled summer style in her white sundress, Selena upped the ante in a banana-yellow bathing suit as she bronzed her body with 36-year-old Benny, and something about the photos was giving some fans the ick.

Modeling a paneled, strapless white sundress with pops of yellow, green, and orange, the Emilia Perez actress wore a matching headband, with the cute snap offering yet another reminder of this couple’s love. Stripping down to a high-cut swimsuit in the next photo, Selena sizzled in the sun, showing off her bombshell curves and killer legs while throwing her arms above her head.

Flashing her cleavage as she went skintight, Selena lay with Benny and amid cushioned outdoor seating, soaking up rays and celebrating the annual holiday. Benny, who wore a mismatched shorts and shirt combo, largely covered his face.

“I still believe this is a publicity stunt! This dude is crude and juvenile, on top of the obvious! Why would someone with such class as Selena take him seriously?” one fan replied. Benny had sparked anger over the Fourth of July as yet another photo of him grabbing Selena sparked concern that the couple’s relationship wasn’t healthy. “Delete,” another fan bluntly wrote.

In May, Benny made headlines for confirming that he sees a proper future with Selena Gomez. Speaking to Howard Stern, he replied to the marriage prompt, saying: “That’s like my next goal on the box. I have a lot of God kids, I’ve got a ton of nephews. It’s my thing, I love being around kids!”

Meanwhile, in February, the Rare Beauty founder had opened up on her 2023-commenced romance, stating: “I think it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I’d have to say overall it’s the safest that I feel and it’s been really lovely and I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome.” Fans are still waiting for that engagement ring.
