Gypsy Rose Blanchard Channels Taylor Swift With Chic New Outfit

Gypsy Rose Blanchard may not be attending Taylor Swift’s New Orleans stops on the “Eras Tour,” but that hasn’t stopped her from celebrating in true Swiftie style.

On Saturday, October 26, the 33-year-old Louisiana resident showed her love for the pop superstar by donning a sweatshirt emblazoned with “Cruel Summer” along with some Taylor-themed accessories, marking Swift’s highly anticipated arrival in New Orleans.

While Gypsy Rose Blanchard confirmed she won’t be attending any of the three New Orleans shows, she’s celebrating from afar with a nod to Taylor Swift’s music and persona.

Gypsy showed her Swiftie pride in a dark green cropped sweatshirt featuring “Cruel Summer” across the top and the lyrics, “Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes,” with a pink-and-green dice graphic underneath.

“Today is the second day of the Eras Tour in New Orleans and unfortunately, I can’t make it,” the mom-to-be said in a video captioned with “OOTD (Taylor’s version)” on Instagram. “But that isn’t stopping me from wearing Taylor Swift-inspired attire and jewelry.”

Adding to her Swift-inspired look, Gypsy wore silver snake earrings as a nod to Swift’s Reputation album, a necklace with two silver interlocking hearts, and a friendship bracelet, completing her celebration from afar.

Though she won’t be at any of Taylor Swift’s three New Orleans shows, Gypsy’s outfit makes it clear she’s celebrating in spirit.

In the video, she revealed that she wasn’t able to secure tickets for Swift’s October 25 to October 27 shows at the Caesars Superdome stadium, but that isn’t stopping her from supporting her idol from afar.

“I’m wearing my ‘Cruel Summer,’ which I got from the mall — it’s really cute,” she said. “I’m wearing a friendship bracelet that says ‘celebrate.’ And I’m wearing a necklace that’s inspired by ‘Lovers’ era. Earrings are inspired by ‘Reputation’ era.”

Swift’s influence is clearly meaningful to Gypsy, who has openly embraced her love for the singer’s music and message.

“I know that I’ve been looking forward to this concert for a long time. I was really hoping to go, but unfortunately I just couldn’t snag tickets, and also I wasn’t expecting to be pregnant!” she said. “Priorities kinda had to shift a little bit, but I’m watching the concert on livestream. I’m so happy for everybody that is going. I think I’ll go to a concert at some point, it just won’t be this time around.”

Her enthusiasm for the artist has been evident over the years. In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine back in January, the ex-con shared her admiration for Swift, saying, “I felt like [Swift] was just a total rock star.”

“I became a fan of Taylor Swift when I was probably about 17 and she was just starting out in country music and I loved her music then,” the 33-year-old said earlier this year at the premiere of her Lifetime docuseries. “I think she’s all about girl empowerment and that’s why I respond to her so well, is because I’m getting into that girl empowerment vibe type of lifestyle right now.”

She added, “So I just, I get it. I get her music and I think that she is an artist who gets women.”

“You know it’s still going to be a long journey ahead, but I’m up for it. I feel a shift in myself. When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the feud between the creator and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded. It didn’t matter anymore. All that matters is that I’m healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy.”

Gypsy Rose was married to Ryan Anderson, whom she tied the knot with while behind bars, but she and Urker, who were previously engaged during her time in prison for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee, have recently rekindled their relationship.

As Gypsy Rose shares updates on her pregnancy journey, she has faced criticism from those who have scrutinized the size of her baby bump. Some skeptics have even gone so far as to suggest she isn’t pregnant at all, casting doubt on her announcements and fueling online negativity, but she isn’t letting that bother her.

“It’s not about anything other than the tiny little life that’s inside you,” she said. “That you are now in charge of protecting and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that’s yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wish I could have had when I was little.”
