Is Meghan Markle’s former BFF letting her know two can play at that game?
On Tuesday night, Jessica Mulroney took to Instagram to post a rather cryptic quote without much context… She shared on her Story:
“As loving as I am, my detachment game is strong too.”
Hmmm…

The post originally came from IG account @positivevibesquotes, which added the caption:
“Detachment allows for less disappointment and heartbreak. Do you agree or disagree?”

Clearly, Jessica resonated with some part of the quote, but the question is, was it directed towards her ex-BFF? As Perezcious readers may remember, the two fell out back in 2020 when Jessica was accused of displaying “white privilege” during the Black Lives Matter movement, which a source at the time told ET was “painful” and “disappointing” for the Duchess of Sussex, who is biracial — leading her to detach from the stylist. Or, well, to ghost her entirely we guess.
Months later, Jessica tried to do some damage control, slamming “tabloid culture,” and claiming her and the mother of two were still close as ever — “family,” even.
This, of course, wasn’t the first time Jessica has posted a shady quote, as she also took to the photo sharing app late last year to post:
“Best thing I ever did was learn how to move without the crowd.”
Fans at the time thought it was in response to being left out of the Netflix docuseries.
