As the devastating wildfires continue to impact communities in Los Angeles, there are several ways people can offer support, whether they are near or far.

From donating to relief funds and volunteering with local organizations to providing supplies for evacuees, every contribution counts. Community members can also support those affected by spreading awareness and advocating for longer-term recovery efforts.

“Your tax-deductible donation will ensure this fund can support as many people as possible as soon as a disaster strikes,” the fundraiser’s page reads. “We send critical cash grants directly to people who need help recovering from the impact of a wildfire.”

The fundraiser total is currently at $1,379,021. Recent top donations include $100,000 from GoFundMe, $100,000 from the National Basketball Players Association, and $100,000 from Venmo. There are multiple donations in the amount of $10,000 and $5,000, as well as more than 13,000 other donations.

The American Red Cross provides assistance to those affected by these fires and the LA Fire Department Foundation provides much needed support and equipment to first responders.”

Shirts can be ordered on their website and sell for $35 each. They also have hoodies that range in price from $75 to $150.
