Director Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, Jungle Cruise, Black Adam, The Woman in the Yard) has signed on to helm the psychological thriller An Innocent Girl for Netflix. Michael Mohan (Immaculate) penned the script, with current revisions by Marc Guggenheim (Arrow, Carnival Row).
The film’s official logline reads, “When a young and ambitious woman is seduced by a high powered D.C. couple, she’s drawn into a dangerous world of sex, power and murder.”
Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter will produce An Innocent Girl for Berlanti /Schechter Films, marking the latest project out of their production company’s creative partnership with Netflix. Marc Guggenheim, Mike McGrath and Scott Greenberg serve as executive producers.
While we wait for this project to move forward, Collet-Serra’s next feature will be a reboot of the 1993 film Cliffhanger starring Lily James and Pierce Brosnan, which is currently in post-production.
