Cracks In Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom’s Romance Exposed

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom might be forced to own up to the truth of their relationship at their beloved pals’ wedding, reports say.

The power couple has been plagued with breakup rumors after almost a decade together and six years of engagement. Sources say they are going through a rough patch intensified by Perry’s career woes.

The lovebirds continue to maintain the status quo despite the gossip, but new optics suggest there is indeed trouble in paradise.

Perry and Bloom are among the A-listers on the guest list for billionaire Jeff Bezos’s upcoming wedding to Lauren Sanchez.

It is supposed to be their first major appearance, but it has been confirmed that only one person has RSVP’d for the big day. The Amazon founder is set to tie the knot with his fiancée in a lavish three-day Venice ceremony to be held from June 24 to 26.

Sources confirm to TMZ that the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor will attend the wedding solo. A scheduling conflict is responsible for the “Roar” singer’s absence.

While Bloom will be in Italy celebrating with the newlyweds, Perry will be across the globe in Australia performing on stage as part of her ongoing “The Lifetimes Tour.” The singer has 15 sold-out shows on the continent.

Despite the reasonable explanation, the actor going to the nuptials stag is bound to fan the flames of their breakup rumors further.

In April, the former “American Idol” judge joined an 11-minute all-female space trip on Bezos’ Blue Origin spacecraft. Following the mission, she praised her fiancé for his support, saying he was “all about the journey.”

However, close sources say the reverse was the case, as Bloom “did not approve” because he never believed “going on the mission was a good idea.” The Hollywood star allegedly predicted the “Teenage Dream” songstress would face backlash.

The informant added, “He always thought it was a stupid idea, and she wouldn’t get anything positive out of it.” As a result, the 48-year-old became “frustrated.”

The distance is growing between the couple, who share a daughter, Daisy, 4, amid the singer’s overwhelming struggles.

“Katy has been through it the last few months,” the informant explained. “Leaving American Idol, releasing her lackluster album, the debacle over her space mission, and her struggling tour have been disappointing and stressful.”

Through it all, the 40-year-old has had to rely heavily on the “Hobbit” actor, taking a toll on their long-term romance.

“There aren’t many people she can dump her emotions on, but obviously she can with Orlando. But with his work and juggling parenting, life as of late has put a strain on their relationship,” the source noted.

Although it seems things don’t look good currently, the end of the road isn’t reportedly near for Perry and Bloom.

“The rumors of a rough patch are true, but it’s not at the point of no return. They know they must fix things, and they both want to figure it out,” the source noted.

The insider added that the couple must make time to address their problems, but that hasn’t been easy.

“They haven’t been able to sit down and work on some of their issues. A breakup isn’t imminent,” the insider said. “They both know they should focus on their relationship before it does become too late.”

However, a separate source alleged there is no hope for Bloom and Perry’s romance. As The Blast reported, the poor reception of the songstress’s “143” album pushed them past the breaking point.

“Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,” a source alleged to People Magazine. “It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.”

The insider added, “She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It’s put stress on their relationship.” Unfortunately, the couple was unable to work through it and is looking to officially call it off soon.

“They are waiting till her tour is over before they split,” the informant declared.
