‘Love Island’ Stars Ace & Chelley Return To Instagram With Heartfelt Reflections
Love Island USA Season 7 stars and fan-favorite couple Ace and Chelley both returned to Instagram with their first posts since leaving the Villa. The duo each shared heartfelt messages to their supporters, thanking them for their support, reflecting on their time on the show, and speaking candidly about how they were perceived.
Though their journeys ended sooner than most expected, they both made it clear they left the villa feeling like winners.
Ace Thanks His Supporters & Reflects On Perception
On Thursday afternoon, Ace posted a photo of himself and Chelley hugging in the villa pool. The second slide featured a letter addressed to “My Ace Mob Family & Friends.”
In his statement, Ace began by thanking everyone who stood by him throughout his time on the show. He shared that he made a promise to himself to remain authentic, despite the challenges he faced — and he feels he kept that promise.
He also spoke honestly about how reality TV can shape public perception.
“The truth is, who I am in real life and who I may have been perceived to be on TV are two very different things. But one thing is for sure, I walked out of that Villa a winner. I left with the most beautiful girl in the world, someone who truly means everything to me. And if I had to do it all again, I’d do it a billion times over.”
His post was met with a wave of love from fans and fellow Islanders, who shared their love for him.
Chelley Speaks Out: “At The End Of The Day… I Won”
Shortly after Ace shared his post, Chelley followed with one of her own. The first few slides included a written message addressed to her supporters, in which she expressed her love and gratitude, opened up about her experience on the show, and reflected on what wasn’t shown on screen:
“I’ve never been angry with the world for having opinions. A lot occurred and went unseen, but understand that you’re only seeing a glimpse — maybe 10 minutes out of my 24-hour day in Fiji. Even though many things were out of context, it could never stop me from expressing my love and gratitude toward all of you. I love y’all. Even the ones who may not love me back…”
Chelley stated that despite everything, she still feels like she came out on top.
“How I see it? At the end of the day… I won. I have my man. I have my circle. I have my peace. And I have YOU,” she added.
She ended her message by encouraging her supporters to spread love, not hate. Chelley closed out the slides with a few photos of her and Ace and other moments from her time on ‘Love Island USA.’
