Tamra Judge has a theory as to why Shannon Beador is being so critical of Katie Ginella on The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“I think she doesn’t really have a whole lot going on in her life right now,” Tamra, 57, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while attending Alexis Bellino’s bridal shower on Saturday, August 16. “I think that she doesn’t have kids at home. She doesn’t have a husband or a boyfriend. I think she’s trying to make the best of what she’s got. I think it’s a little over the top.”
During the cast trip to New Orleans, Shannon, 61, had a moment during dinner when she yelled at Katie, “I can’t stand you.”
While Tamra said she didn’t see “the outburst” in the Big Easy, she heard about it and wasn’t impressed.
“The whole thing is a little bit ridiculous in my mind,” Tamra said at Truly Blessed Jewels in Newport Beach, California. “Yeah, Katie did some things, and Katie repeated some things. But you’ll see how that plays out.”
While previews show Jennifer Pedranti and Gretchen Rossi questioning if they can fully believe Katie, 41, saying she didn’t reveal personal information to bloggers, Tamra hasn’t thrown in the towel with her costar just yet.

“I honestly have not seen Katie since the last time we filmed together, but we definitely have DMed back and forth,” she teased. “I know what it’s like to be an outsider with these girls and how hard it can be, and I think it’s backfiring. I think that the fans love her, and I think whenever there’s a gang up like that, it doesn’t go over well, and there’s more to come on that, so I can’t really say more.”
“Did she mess up? She did,” the host of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s in Pod” podcast said. “Is she a terrible person who’s a danger to society? No.”
During Thursday’s episode, Tamra returned to the show after briefly quitting during the cast trip.

When asked why she came back to finish out season 19, Tamra said she received encouragement from her close friend Teddi Mellencamp and Andy Cohen.
“I am a person that gives 100 percent in everything I do, and when it came to the show, I wasn’t given 100 percent,” she told Us. “You wouldn’t know that, because every storyline is about me.”
