Diddy Warned About Violence In His Preferred Prison Facility

Sean “Diddy” Combs has received an unexpected warning about his preferred prison choice from a former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star.

The rapper had previously informed the court of his preference for FCI Fort Dix, citing its rehabilitative programs and other favorable conditions as reasons for his request.

Although the court responded that it can only recommend the facility to the Bureau of Prisons, there remains a possibility that Diddy could still be assigned there, as the final decision lies with the agency.

Speaking withFox News Digital, Joe Giudice, who served time at FCI Fort Dix for fraud and conspiracy, shared details of his experience at the facility in light of Diddy’s recent request to serve his sentence there.

He shared that he was able to enjoy frequent family visits, a factor Diddy also highlighted in a letter written by his attorney, Teny Geragos, in support of his request to the court.

“Family visits – basically, you come out to meet up in one big room and everybody’s there, and your family comes. I had family coming every weekend, you know what I mean, friends, family every weekend,” said Giudice, who served time at the facility from 2016 to 2019

He went on to add a warning about potential violence and gang activity as he witnessed an instance during his time there.

“They just like stabbed each other as they’re walking across the track,” the former convict claimed. “It’s like you’ve barely even seen anything, but you know, they just like stabbed each other for whatever reason, you know, whatever it was.”

Despite the possibility of gang violence, Giudice’s lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr, who also spoke with the outlet, claimed that the facility is seen by many as “a pretty easy place to do time.”

He confirmed that Fort Dix does indeed have a Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), as requested by Diddy, and noted that it is highly sought after by many inmates.

According to Leonard, one of the main reasons for this is that those enrolled in the program are not placed within the general prison population.

“You’re in a different housing area with other participants in the program, all of whom have been carefully screened, all of whom have to be both legally and clinically eligible,” the attorney revealed.

Another benefit, Leonard noted, is that if Diddy is assigned to the facility and participates in the “very intensive therapeutic program” for a year, he could have time shaved off his four-year, two-month sentence.

For now, Diddy’s hope of serving his sentence at Fort Dix remains uncertain, as Judge Subramanian, who presided over his sex crimes trial, has denied the rapper’s request..

Subramanian stated he would only recommend a “facility in the geographic location of the defense’s choosing, but not the specific facility,” and instructed Diddy’s team to submit a request for a different geographic location.

However, the judge did promise to recommend that Diddy “be incarcerated as close as possible to the New York metropolitan area.”

Judge Subramanian wrote that the court will recommend that Diddy be “considered for admission to any available substance abuse program…”

These programs, he specified, include the “Bureau of Prisons’ Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), for which he qualifies.”

Ultimately, the final decision rests with the BOP, which typically considers factors such as the severity of the offense, the required security level, and the inmate’s rehabilitation or programming needs.

Ahead of his transfer, the weight of the pressure of his sentence is said to be weighing heavily on Diddy.

As his incarceration would also mean he can no longer personally oversee his various business ventures, Diddy is also “terrified of coming out of jail completely broke.”

The situation has reportedly led Diddy to feel “anxious” and “depressed” about going to prison.

His last resort is to get a pardon from President Donald Trump, and although his team requested one, those close to Diddy have said it’s “unrealistic” to expect it to happen.
