Kelly Dodd made a shocking claim about Heather and Terry Dubrow‘s marriage on Instagram after a rumor was shared in which it was alleged that he was gay.
After Reality Blurb published a report titled, “RHOC’s Dr. Terry Dubrow Addresses Gay Rumors as He and Wife Heather React to Kyle Richards Seemingly Coming Out as Bi,” the 50-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum compared Heather, 56, and Terry, 67, to actor John Travolta, 71, and his late wife, Kelly Preston, 57, and gave a nod to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, 56.
“Lisa her best friend told me he was gay his brother was gay their whole family is gay. It’s hereditary. It’s OK they have a lavender marriage. Just like Kelly Preston and John Travolta it’s fine,” Kelly wrote in a comment to the story on Instagram.
In addition to seemingly signaling the ongoing gay allegations John faced throughout his decades-long marriage to Kelly, who died after a breast cancer battle in 2020, Kelly recalled a moment from RHOBH.
“He will never satisfy her just like Kyle Richards,” she wrote.
As RHOBH fans will recall, psychic Allison Dubois infamously told Kyle, “he will never emotionally fulfill you,” of her now-estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, 55, during season one.
On the December 17 episode of their Between Us podcast, Heather and Terry spoke of the swirling rumors regarding his sexuality, with Heather slamming the reports as “so stupid.”
“Why would we live like that? Why would we hide that?” she wondered.
Meanwhile, Terry added, “If I’m gay in this long-term relationship, please feel bad for me because I’m not living my true life. I’m having a life of dissatisfaction … If I were gay, I would be … really happy about it. And I would celebrate it. And by the way, I would be a lot wealthier because I would have married a guy who was very, very successful right away, and we don’t spend money the way women spend money.”
“But gay-friendly as we are, why would we live a lie like that?” he continued.
