Jennifer Fessler showed off the results of her nose job and facelift amid a growing trend of over-40s patients seeking out plastic surgery.
After going to see double board-certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Sam Rizk, who boasts over 25 years of experience, for a more youthful look, the 55-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star was featured in a magazine, where she explained her decision to go under the knife.
“Would You Get a Nose Job in Your 50s?” read a headline featured in a joint post from Allure and the surgeon, which was shared on Instagram on December 23. “More and more people are… sometimes right along with their facelifts.”
In the caption, the message continued, “When Jennifer Fessler of The Real Housewives of New Jersey saw New York City facial plastic surgeon Dr. Sam Rizk for a deep plane facelift at 54, she had one more request: a nose job. Fessler says her nose had always been somewhat prominent, but it felt proportional. Something changed as she entered her 50s, though.”
Looking back at the moments leading up to her surgery, Jennifer said, “I felt like my nose was spreading across my face, and I just couldn’t get a good picture … All I could see was jowls, neck, and nose.”
While Jennifer wanted more definition, she didn’t want a little button nose.
“My nose is still, you know, when I say big, I don’t mean it in a bad way,” she explained. “It just is — I have big features, so it fits.”
In the article for Allure, Jennifer continued to open up about her surgery, saying that she “breezed through” the recovery and “was out a week and a half later at a Super Bowl party.”
Jennifer also posted the IG pics on her Story, thanking her doctor as she showed off her before and after pics with her fans and followers.
Jennifer Fessler has been featured on The Real Housewives of New Jersey since season 13. No word yet on whether she’ll return for the series’ upcoming 15th season.
