Watching this scene provoked the biggest film-related laugh I had last month. I burst out laughing from the moment George Gaynes's expression changed (at 0:48 in the above clip) and kept laughing throughout. The topper was Steve Gutenberg's last expression and line.
I feel that Gaynes deserved to be as big a name in comedies as Leslie Nielsen and Lloyd Bridges. In some of the Police Academy sequels, his scenes were the funniest, by far.
