Dolores Catania suggested there will always be “resentment” and “lack of trust” between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga amid their reconciliation. Dolores also revealed that she’s barely in Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
A few months back, Teresa and Melissa made up after their years-long feud. Though many fans were happy to see it, others suspect that they’re trying to return to Real Housewives of New Jersey, which has been on hiatus since 2024.
On Housewives Nightcap, Dolores addressed Teresa and Melissa’s reconciliation.
“Sometimes in life you get in a big fight, a big blowout. And then something happens, and then you guys just start talking again,” said Dolores. “And then you pick up, but there’s always resentment. And there’s always that lack of trust … There’ll always be that like thing in the back of [your mind].”
But Dolores said she’ll support their reconciliation “however they need to do it” – and suggested it’s genuine.
“The cast isn’t back, and [Teresa and Melissa are] still friendly, and they seem to be having the holidays together,” said Dolores. “Let’s look at it this way too. You have that friend that you don’t see for like a year, and you pick up where you left off.”
At one point in the interview, Dolores addressed her involvement on the Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
“Liz McGraw is somebody on there, you’re gonna think she’s hilarious,” said Dolores. “She’s so funny and so real. But all the girls are really real. They were really nice to me. They embraced me.”
But Dolores shared that she’s only in a “few cameos.”
“They didn’t have me on as much as I would have liked it,” she explained. “But … they were like, ‘Well you’re Jersey. But you know, you’re friends with Liz, so we’re gonna have you [appear] here and there.”
Throughout the years, Dolores has remained friends with both Teresa and Melissa – despite their many feuds. But after the last season (when the sisters-in-law seemingly refused to film together) Dolores thought at the time that their relationship was over for good.
