General Hospital Star Talks Insane Twist in Drew’s Arc

The shooting of Drew has been one of the dominating arcs in General Hospital for quite some time now, and last week, things escalated further as Willow finally told her incapacitated husband that it was she who put two bullets into his back. However, there could be a bigger twist coming from Drew’s side, according to Willow actress Katelyn MacMullen.

With Willow telling Drew that she was behind the shooting, Soaps.com proposed a theory to Katelyn MacMullen. They suggested that Drew might respond by saying he knew about it all. Perhaps Drew played along to frame Michael in what could turn out to be a diabolical scheme.

“That’s a good theory,” she responded to the suggestion, “I wonder how Willow would feel?” She continued, “I don’t think she would be surprised…If Drew had known all along that she pulled the trigger but kept quiet in order to continue framing Michael, it would make a twisted kind of sense.”

MacMullen further added, “It isn’t about love. It isn’t about Drew and Willow, no matter what he’s claimed in the past. It’s about using anything and everything from Willow’s past to get back at Michael. It’s all about Drew finding ways to further his own agenda, to get revenge.”

However, this puts Willow in a complicated position with Drew. “She’s kind of beholden to him, because he’s a very powerful person,” she added, “As long as his vendetta against Michael is stronger than anything else, she’s basically collateral damage!”

But as an actress, MacMullen is very excited about the arc, no matter the direction it takes. “It’s been so exciting,” she admitted, “Even before we found out that Willow pulled the trigger, I wondered if she might have done it. But I definitely wasn’t expecting her to stab him with the hypodermic needle.”

The upcoming episodes of General Hospital will be crucial in this development.
