RHONJ’s Margaret Josephs hints at friendship fallout with Jackie Goldschneider while filming season 14.
Margaret Josephs confirms that she and co-star/friend Jackie Goldschneider aren’t on the best terms at the moment.
“I do love Jackie, and her book just came out. It’s powerful. I’m grateful she says so many amazing things about me in the book, and we are bonded, and we have a bond,” the RHONJ star told Us Weekly on Monday, September 25. “For whatever reason, it is not the same right now, but I’m sure it will be.”
While Margaret didn’t reveal what caused the friction between her and Jackie, the 56-year-old is optimistic that they will get their friendship back on track.
Margaret’s comments come just days after Jackie confirmed that AllAboutTRH‘s reports about the drama between the RHONJ stars were true!
On Tuesday, Jackie appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen alongside Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay.
During the appearance, Jackie confirms that she’s not in the best place with her BFF Margaret.
“Which Jersey housewife would you say is currently your least favorite right now?” Andy Cohen asked the RHONJ friend.
“Oh, I mean, I don’t wanna ruin this season, but I’m going through something with Margaret,” Jackie said.
As AllAboutTRH EXCLUSIVELY revealed earlier this month, Margaret and Jackie are “fighting” over how Jackie got her book deal for debut publication, The Weight of Beautiful, which was released on September 26.
At Dolores Catania’s charity baseball game on August 30, Jackie was spotted getting into a “heated discussion” with Margaret’s husband, Joe Benigno. Jackie and Margaret did NOT interact at all at the charity baseball game.
“It’s about Jackie’s book,” All About the Real Housewives podcast host Roxanne Bahri revealed. “I think Margaret insinuated she got Jackie the book deal, but then Jackie didn’t want anyone to read it, and I think she allowed Jenn Fessler to read it, and Margaret was like, ‘Why wouldn’t you let me read it?’”
“And then it’s like the book deal thing, where it was like, ‘You know, you didn’t get me a book deal. Don’t take credit for that.’ That’s really what it is. That’s what she’s fighting with Margaret about,” Roxanne continued. “I don’t think Margaret is going to dismiss [Jackie].“
