The drama heats up at the RHONY season 14 reunion as shocking accusations of “gaslighting,” cheating, and playing the victim emerge.
On Sunday, part one of the Real Housewives of New York season 14 reunion aired on Bravo, and no one was safe from landing in the hot seat.
As Erin Lichy opened up about her new business venture with Million Dollar Listing alum Fredrik Elkland, Ubah Hassan called out Jenna Lyons for being disingenuous.
“I think TV Jenna is ‘poor me,’ victim, ‘I’m old, I’m this,’ and the real Jenna is [a] powerhouse,” the Ubah Hot founder said, leaving the former J.Crew CEO speechless.
“I mean, I don’t even know what to say,” a stunned Jenna admitted. “I think it’s a lot different having cameras watching you. Having vulnerability and being powerful … can exist together. I’m not in a power situation in this dynamic at all.”
Ubah didn’t stop there. She then claimed Jenna was “nowhere to be found” every time there was drama and a Housewife was “yelling or something.”
“[Jenna tends to] avoid a lot of things,” Ubah continued.
When Jenna explained that she wasn’t “excited” about “weighing in on someone else,” Ubah pointed out that she had a lot to say behind the scenes.
The focus then shifted to Erin’s friendship with Sai de Silva and where it stood at this moment in time.
RHONY reunion host Andy Cohen asked Erin how she felt about Sai’s hurtful comments about her shakshuka and cheese.
“Honestly, I have no idea what happened to her. Something like switched,” Erin said of Sai, who jumped in, claiming Erin was a liar.
Sai took issue with Erin, saying that she complained about the cheese being served at her party when she didn’t.
“I never came to your house and said that. Never,” Sai said. “Ubah was there, Jessel was there, I brought you a nice bottle of champagne. We were there to have a good time. I was the only person eating the cheese, actually. Stop insinuating this story that I’m a rude person who came to your house and complained.”
Erin admitted she “misconstrued” Sai’s comments and didn’t relay the events “accurately.”
“I don’t think Erin’s rude. I think she’s polite. She’s elegant. She’s nice, but I think she’s a s—-stirrer,” Ubah added. “And she gaslights. I think she gaslights.”
“One hundred percent,” Sai agreed.
Later on in the reunion, Erin and Sai found themselves in the hot seat yet again when Jessel Taank called them out for talking about her marriage to her husband, Pavit Randhawa, in a “disgusting f—ing way.”
Sai insisted that she never talked badly about Jessel’s marriage and merely said it’s “sexless.”
However, Jessel didn’t agree and stated that both Erin and Sai implied that her husband would cheat on her during his trip to Vietnam.
Erin denied that she “insinuated” that Jessel’s husband cheated on her, to which Jessel fired back, “Did you watch the show Erin? Did you watch it with a f—ing blindfold over your face?”
The fashion public relationship expert then accused Erin of spreading rumors about why her husband, Pavit, doesn’t wear his wedding band. This all turned out to be a misunderstanding, as Brynn Whitfield incorrectly relayed the message. Erin noted that her own husband, Abe Lichy, doesn’t wear his wedding band often, which is why she didn’t want to bring up the topic on camera.
Afterward, Jessel turned her sights onto Sai, who explained why she believed Jessel and Pavit lied about having sex on their staycation.
“You know what, it’s none of my business,” Sai replied. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t comment on anyone’s marriage but my own. From the outside looking in, it just doesn’t feel like you have a connection, but that is your relationship, and I can’t justify your relationship at all.”
Jessel said, “No one deserves to comment on my marriage, and especially not in a negative way,” even when it comes to the sex drought she and Pavit faced in their marriage following the birth of their twin sons.
“And also, I was talking about postpartum. You understand when you have babies, when you have four years of IVF, it’s OK. It’s OK to have these struggles,” Jessel explained to Erin and Sai, who both continued to deny her claims. “It’s fine. It’s normal. You both implied my husband is cheating on me because I’m not having sex with him.”
The Real Housewives of New York City reunion part 2 airs Oct. 28 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
