Kanye West’s eldest daughter, North West, is always going to be a daddy’s girl as she apparently enjoys spending time at Ye’s rather than living at home with Kim Kardashian.
On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim was having a conversation with sister Kourtney when she revealed that North told her that she loves staying over at Kanye’s apartment because of the independence she gets.
While most people would enjoy having the perks of a private chef or security guard inside a swanky mansion, the 10-year-old enjoys the simplicity and normality of life with Kanye since her parents’ divorce.
“North, she’ll go to her dad’s. She’ll be like, ‘Dad, is the best! He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security, he lives in an apartment,’” Kim said.
“She’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment!’”

Kim talks about her struggles with parenting North West:
“North, she’ll go to her dad’s, she’ll be like, dad, is the best! He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security, he lives in an apartment, and she’ll start crying,… pic.twitter.com/cIJcWtzoIt

One fan responded to the scene by saying that they hope Kim Kardashian can understand that it’s about the lifestyle rather than the physical space.
“I don’t think she’s literally upset about the lack of an apartment lol,” she wrote. “She’s upset about the lifestyle. I hope her mom understands that and can address it appropriately.”
This season of The Kardashians appears to have been filmed in early 2023 because, since the summertime, Kanye West has been spending a lot of time overseas working on his new album, with a home base in Italy alongside his wife Bianca Censori.
While Kim Kardashian has been open about some of the turbulence of co-parenting four children with West, she recently applauded him for embracing her decision to hire a male nanny.
“I do think that my household and even our family is very female-dominated,” she said in an earlier episode of her reality show. “I recently hired a Manny. I really wanted a male around that would be picking them up and taking them to sports, and I was scared out of my mind to tell their dad that.”
She added: “When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself. They played two-on-two with Saint and him. He’s been so nice to him, like, ‘Hey, if you’re going to help raise my son’ — because he handed him the ball really easily or something — he’s like, ‘Don’t do that, have him get it himself.
“It’s some of the rules I would want.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God, okay.’”
