This fall, prepare to return to the high seas. Skybound has unveiled a new preview for Sea Serpent’s Heir Book Two: Black Wave, the latest installment of the fantasy adventure graphic novel series from the publisher’s Comet young readers imprint. The book comes from the creative team of writer Mairghread Scott and artist Pablo Tunica.

The new book picks up where Pirate’s Daughter, the previous volume of the fantasy trilogy, left off. The series first installment was released in October 2022 as part of the initial wave of Skybound Comet graphic novel releases, which also included the first volume of Tillie Walden‘s Walking Dead series Clementine, and Everyday Hero Machine Boy from creators Tri Vuong and Irma Kniivila.
