May December was filmed in picturesque locations around Savannah, Georgia, and Tybee Island during the middle portion of 2022. Originally, there were plans for the film to be shot in Camden, Maine, but the filmmakers chose Savannah and Tybee Island due to the two locations’ ambiance.
