During Sunday’s episode of RHOP, Robyn Dixon is still reeling from her co-stars attacking her husband Juan Dixon and their marriage.
On top of rumors about Juan’s cheating, the ladies of RHOP have been salivating over his legal and career woes.
Juan was named in a November 2022 lawsuit in which former CSU player Ibn Williams alleges that he was extorted and sexually assaulted by Juan’s assistant coach, Lucian Brownlee.
Williams named Juan in the lawsuit and alleges that he failed to take action despite being informed about the allegations against Brownlee.
The lawsuit was first brought up at the Real Housewives of Potomac season 7 reunion, where Robyn insisted he did nothing wrong and that Juan’s name was only added to the lawsuit for clickbait.
While Robyn has no problem with her RHOP co-stars going after rumors of Juan’s infidelity or their marriage, she takes major issue with them going after his career.
On the car ride to the group’s Chicken Sh-t outing in Austin, Texas, Robyn got emotional when discussing Juan’s recent job loss.
She also admitted that she’s reevaluating friendships within the group, especially since some of the women are celebrating her and Juan’s “downfall.”
“Like that hurts, like that’s his life. That’s our life,” Robyn said after hearing the ladies’ comments about Juan. “My husband is hurting, and our family is hurting.”
In her confessional, Robyn explained: “Juan being fired, it’s like a part of him has been taken away from him. Seeing him go through this with no plan, that really hurts my heart for my husband.”
“I don’t appreciate the assumptions that are being made,” she added. “This is just such a sensitive and emotional situation for us.”
Later in the episode, Robyn shares an update about her and Juan’s finances.
According to Robyn, she reveals how she and Juan are doing since he lost his coaching job at Coppin State University.
“Financially, things are the same,” she said. “You know, even though he lost his job, Juan had 15 months left on his contract, so he was paid for 15 months of work. Hopefully, Juan gets a new job in 15 months before, you know, then we have to start making changes. But, financially, we’re good.”
On the phone with Juan, Robyn explains that Karen Huger, Dr. Wendy Osefo, and Candiace Dillard “had a lot to say about our whole situation.”
“I can’t listen to this anymore, because it’s like so ridiculous,” Juan told his wife. “It is getting blown way out of proportion. I need you to stop feeding into [it].”
“It’s not their life! It’s your life! It’s our life!” he added. “I’m not going to let you keep allowing these women to get you super emotional.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
