Dropping perps by day and beats by night, an Australian police officer is enjoying his viral moment after DJing behind the decks at a rave in Sydney.
Footage shared on TikTok appears to show the cop, a member of the New South Wales Police Force, sporting a pair of headphones and spinning a track at the December 26th party on Turimetta Beach. One person who claimed to have attended the rave said the responding officers “let the party keep going until at least sunrise.”
“Officers patrolling in the area attended and did their best to ensure the safety of everyone at the event,” a police spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia.
NSW Police then brought even more levity to the rave on social media. “This is defs going viral,” the department said in a comment shared by its official TikTok account.
