Monica Garcia was put on blast by Heather Gay‘s hairstylist, Tenesha Luckett, on Instagram after Heather revealed on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four finale episode that Tenesha had informed her that she and Monica had run a troll account targeting the cast.
After Monica, 40, admitted on the episode to being involved with the Instagram account, named Reality Von Tease, but insisted it was Tenesha who ran it, Tenesha took to her Instagram page to share several controversial posts, one of which saw Monica filming herself driving by the home of Jen Shah, 50, in a hijab.
“I’m in disguise, driving by Jen’s house. Low key, I think I might have found my father’s actual descent,” Monica said in the clip, re-shared by All About the Real Housewives on Instagram, sparking rumors of cultural appropriation and claims of being “obsessed” with the imprisoned Jen.
Following the clip, Tenesha shared screenshots of text messages that featured a dispute over Reality Von Tease and denied “stalking” the property of Angie Katsanevas, 50, after Monica called her out.
“Let’s be clear! I was leaving a shoot in the avenues of [Salt Lake City] and leaving the neighborhood Monica had described Angie’s house and I sent her a pic like is this what you were talking about…. Not going out of my way to stalk anyone like they do,” Tenesha explained.
Tenesha then accused Monica of using her, a Black woman, as a “scapegoat.”
In another clip shared on Instagram by Bravo Boo, Monica responded to a fan who wanted to know if she hoped to build future friendships with any of her RHOSLC castmates.
“Look, I’m gonna say this: If they can get past everything that they got past, I think we’re gonna be fine but you know, [Whitney Rose] and [Meredith Marks] for sure, and [Mary Cosby],” she replied.
During a third social media clip, Monica reacted to claims of potentially stealing Lisa Barlow‘s missing $60,000 ring, telling her Instagram viewers, “That was bull*shit.”
“I’m actually working on taking a polygraph with the police department because I did not steal that sh*t at all,” she declared.
“You can’t accuse people of stuff like that,” added former RHOSLC cast member Danna Bui-Negrete, who was also seen in the video.
Continuing on, Monica shaded Lisa’s jewelry as “borrowed.”
“I didn’t freaking steal Lisa’s borrowed jewelry. I didn’t steal that,” she concluded.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four reunion begins airing next Tuesday, January 9, at 8/7c on Bravo.
