Quinta Brunson and her stylist have been dragged all across social media tonight after the ‘Abbott Elementary’ creator and star hit the 2024 Emmys red carpet on Monday (January 15), where she showed off a pink wrinkled dress. The stylist defended the look and said, “It’s crushed satin!”
Sadly, the criticism over Brunson’s dress has eclipsed the pandemonium over her great victory of winning “Best Lead Actress In A Comedy Series” at this year’s Emmys.

While many social media users, including her stylist, thought Brunson, 34, looked pretty in pink at the big ceremony for the TV industry, the majority of users took personal offense for Brunson and called out her stylist and the rest of her team for allowing her to leave the house in a wrinkled Dior dress.
Before getting into the comments, it’s reported that for the 75th annual Emmys, Brunson wore a 1950s-inspired sleeveless satin dress, whose waist was trimmed with a satin bow.

However, Quinta Brunson’s 2024 Emmys dress, from bodice to skirt, was covered in creases, wrinkles, you name it. Subsequently, social media users took issues with the clearly intentionally ruffled design and didn’t hold back with their criticism.
On X (formerly Twitter), one user wrote, “Nu-uh! Why is Quinta’s dress wrinkled?? Don’t tell me it’s an intentional design by a brand-name designer!” Another X user wrote, “I need Quinta to tell us the dress was meant to be creased. I need it to be some high fashion thing I don’t understand. I don’t want to live in any other reality. It has to be on purpose, please Quintaaaaaa.”

Another X user tweeted, “I was disappointed in Quinta Brunson’s outfit. It was designer and I like the color, but the material looked like it had been scrunched into a ball, then put right on her. The wrinkles were not a good look.” Someone else simply said, “Hire me as your stylist please because this dress did nothing for you, Quinta.”
After all of the world dragged Quinta Brunson’s stylist, identified as Jessica Paster, she eventually decided enough was enough and fired back explaining the vision behind the design. One user on Instagram wrote, “I’m sorry but this is a huge miss. Love her and her stylist, but rumpled fabric on the red carpet will never read anything other than a mess.”

Paster fired back and said, “Guys, guys, guys… It’s crushed satin. I knew you were gonna say something!! It’s beautiful silhouette on her and fabric… and the color is gorgeous on her.”
When another person wrote, “Whoever did this to her HATES HER! Justice for Quinta!,” Paster responded, “I adore her soooo much!!!”
