Alexis Bellino sparked breakup rumors with Shannon Beador‘s ex John Janssen in a cryptic post about keeping her “cards close.”
The alum just returned to Real Housewives of Orange County – nine seasons after her exit – presumably to spotlight the controversial romance.
Fans have accused John and Alexis of using each other to get back on the show. Bravo loves a good love triangle, and only time will tell if the drama secures her an orange.
But in a February 8 Instagram post, Alexis shared a selfie along with the Miley Cyrus song lyric, “I can buy myself flowers” – a track about not needing a man.
“They say to keep your cards close, unfortunately I don’t listen well,” wrote Alexis in the mysterious caption. “Woops.”
Fans began to wonder if the post means she’s single again.
“Did you guys break up already?” asked one viewer in a comment.
Other fans encouraged Alexis to “keep going,” with some asking, “Are you ok?”
“So cryptic I love it 🤣🤣🤣,” wrote another.
“You can’t help who you fall in love with,” said a different user.
Another fan commented that Alexis doesn’t look “happy.”
“What the heck happened? If it was from him, he isn’t worth it!” said a different viewer. “If you broke up [with him], you are such better quality and elite.”
Other fans speculated that the caption is her RHOC “tagline.”
The problem with this second theory, however, is that Alexis is reportedly just a ‘friend,’ and only main castmembers get taglines. It also seems too early for the network to decide on taglines – since the cast just started filming the new season.
Just moments before her cryptic post, Alexis had shared another post featuring a photo of herself with John, in which she addressed their haters.
Alexis wrote, “This pic says it all.
