Whew! Usher Explains Why Things Didn’t Work Out With Justin Bieber For Halftime Show And Finally Speaks On Altercation With Chris Brown: “We Good”
In a preview clip of Monday’s episode of the @breakfastclub, R&B icon Usher talks with the hosts about his amazing Super Bowl halftime set.
Usher has received widespread praise over his epic show since hitting the field on Sunday, February 11. While fans still can’t get over his great looks, set design, choreography, and the surprise guests he popped out with, other fans can’t get over Just Bieber’s absence after he was reportedly invited to join the R&B singer on the stage.
While speaking on that trending topic, Charlamagne tha God wasted no time in asking Usher the question that everyone wanted to know: “Why didn’t things work out with Justin Bieber?” The 45-year-old superstar explained that in a sense, things “actually worked out with” Justin. He went on to acknowledge that the singer “wants to tell a different story right now and I understand that. We did have a brief conversation and we’re gonna do something in the future.” Quickly switching gears, Charlamagne tha God asked if Chris Brown was a thought when tapping on other artists to hit the stage with him for the Super Bowl. Usher admitted that he actually didn’t ask Chris, 34, while also addressing those altercation “rumors” with the “Run It” artist. Here’s what he had to say:

More On Usher And Chris Brown:
As we exclusively reported, Chris Brown []allegedly got into a heated argument with his mentor and longtime friend Usher at his birthday party last year. Things went completely left during the event, with Chris Brown and his crew jumping the legendary R&B singer. Our insider went on to say that the alleged beatdown was so bad that it left Usher with a “bloodied nose.”
Around that time, neither of them had not publicly spoken out to deny or clarify our report. However, Chris Brown did show love to Usher during the Super Bowl by respectfully giving him his credit for a great show.
