Former RHOM star Ana Quincoces claims Alexia & Todd Nepola’s divorce is for a storyline as Alexia was on the chopping block for season 7.
Ana Quincoces isn’t buying that Alexia Nepola was “blindsided” by her husband Todd Nepola filing for divorce.
In a DM on Instagram, obtained by AllAboutTRH, Ana claims that Alexia and Todd’s divorce is related to the casting shakeup coming to RHOM for season 7.
Ana alleged:
“Make no mistake, the cast shakeup and the divorce are related. And the timing of the inevitable split is fortuitous and a little too coincidental.”
She continued, “When your head is on the chopping block and someone is done with you, they’re usually willing to help you stay employed.”
“Who is blindsided by a divorce these day[s]? Papi doesn’t want to pay alimony so he’ll be the bad guy and give you your storyline. Period, end of story,” the RHOM alum added.
As previously reported, Todd Nepola filed for divorce from Alexia Nepola on Thursday, April 11 in Miami-Dade County.
Per Distractify, Todd’s attorney Michael J. Alman is listed in the filing with Alexia named as the respondent in the case however her attorney is not named in the court documents.
In the filing, Todd claims his marriage to Alexia is “irretrievably broken.” The court filing also reveals that the estranged couple signed a prenuptial agreement on December 10, 2021 — six days before they tied the knot on December 16.
However, the details of their prenup remain confidential.
Just hours after the news broke that Todd filed for divorce, Alexia broke her silence on the devastating news.
On Instagram the RHOM shared that she was “shocked and heartbroken.”
“I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage,” the 56-year-old Real Housewives of Miami star wrote on her Instagram Story Monday night.
“I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during his difficult time,” she continued.
This is the Real Housewives of Miami OG’s third marriage.
The Real Housewives of Miami is expected to return to Bravo in early 2025.
