Captain America is getting some upgrades! Recently revealed promo art shows off new additions to Sam Wilson’s Marvel Cinematic Universe costume.
Fans haven’t been too happy with Sam Wilson’s costume in Captain America: Brave New World, claiming his white suit in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was far superior. However, it seems this new look comes with a few upgrades. Promo art for the upcoming film shows off a new helmet for the costume missing from prior Captain America suits.
The helmet shown in the promo art seems to be similar to the one sported by Falcon in different promotional materials. This seems to suggest that Sam Wilson will be taking to the skies in Captain America: Brave New World even more than in previous films. At the very least, he’ll be safer while doing it!
Sam Wilson’s Grave Threats As Captain America
Controversial suits aren’t the worst thing that Sam Wilson has to contend with in Captain America: Brave New World. Descriptions of footage shown at CinemaCon suggest that the film is set to have the highest stakes of any Captain America film yet, with former heroes mind-controlled to attack politicians and President Ross standing against Sam’s new identity.
Speaking of President Ross, tie-in merchandise for the film reveals that the character will transform into the monstrous Red Hulk, making him the strongest villain Sam Wilson has faced so far in the MCU. With all these threats in Captain America: Brave New World, plus the Leader and Serpent Society, a helmet may be the least of what the heroes need to get through the day!
