Olivia Flowers honored her one-year anniversary with her boyfriend, Alex Williams, on Instagram this week with a series of photos and the story behind how they met.
Six months after officially going public with their romance, Olivia, 32, who is not expected to return to Southern Charm for its upcoming 10th season, celebrated her milestone with Alex as he responded with his comment.
“After arriving late to a wedding (& tripping up the church stairs) I was met by a handsome usher to take me to my seat. Later, that same usher asked my date (my dad) if he could dance with me…A year later and we’re still dancing … (and tripping up stairs),” Olivia wrote in the caption of her May 13 post.
“Cheers to stage 5 clinging,” she added.
In addition to photos of the two of them dancing, Olivia posted a photo of her and Alex in swimsuits, eating pizza, and on a plane.
Following the sharing of the post, Olivia was met with a comment from her beau.
“‘Oh, please. You and I both know I’m a phenomenal dancer. Now I know you’re lying through your teeth.’ Happy Anniversary! And to Garry,” he wrote.
At the end of last year, during an appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Olivia, whose role on Southern Charm was still up in the air at the time, spoke of Alex potentially joining her on the show.
“I don’t know. We haven’t talked about it yet,” she shared. “He’s just very much like, do what you need to do kind of guy. Like, he doesn’t seem like he would seem interested in being on but he’s very supportive and I think if there was a time where it would work for him to come on, he probably would.”
Around the same time, on The Viall Files podcast, Olivia confirmed she was “in love” as she gushed over her boyfriend.
“It’s fun. He’s so cute. He’s 6’6”. Dark hair, dark eyes. Not from Charleston. He’s one of nine siblings… He lives in Dallas and… so I’ve been spending time there,” she revealed.
Southern Charm season 10 is currently in production and expected to air on Bravo sometime later this year.
