Tom Sandoval was called out for allegedly coming on to Raquel Leviss in April 2022, months before their seven-month affair behind the back of his then-girlfriend and her then-best friend, Ariana Madix, in an unseen moment from part one of the Vanderpump Rules reunion.
After the clip, which featured a flashback moment of Scheana Shay breaking the news of Sandoval’s reported flirtations with Raquel at Coachella during the finale, Ariana responded to a fan who suggested that Raquel may have been “manipulated” into thinking she and Sandoval were in an open relationship.
“Could it be that he manipulated Raquel the same way that Ariana has claimed he manipulated her for years?” the fan wrote in the comments section of a post shared by Page Six on Instagram. “I mean why wouldn’t Raquel believe him if that’s what he told her. He was taking her on vacations, to meet his parents, they even spent Christmas together.”
But in response, Ariana clarified that Raquel “didn’t believe” what she was told.
“She told someone that he told her that,” she explained in a comment of her own. “There are missing major chunks here which is totally understandable. They can’t fit every piece of context into the show. He also spent Christmas with me and my family in LA (photo shown in the finale) before splitting his time and going home to see his after.”
“First holidays without my grandma please remember,” Ariana added.
In Peacock’s uncensored, extended episode of the Pump Rules reunion, Scheana was seen telling Ariana about the claims Sandoval allegedly made to Raquel last spring.
“Apparently, in April, [Raquel] told this person that at Coachella, after you went to sleep, they were in a hot tub,” Scheana said amid the finale, via E! News. “He made a comment to her and was like, ‘So you know Ariana and I are, like, open, right?’ And that he started coming on to her at f-cking Coachella. Telling her that, ‘We’re open. We’re open.’ No you’re not.”
As Scheana broke down in tears, Ariana replied, “That has never been the case, ever.”
But back on set at the reunion, Sandoval denied all charges.
“What are you talking about?!” he asked. “That is bullsh-t … I did not say that. I did not f-cking say that.”
“Then why did Raquel repeat that to someone last April?” Scheana clapped back.
Then, after Scheana suggested host Andy Cohen question Raquel about the topic, since Raquel had a restraining order against her at the time, Ariana pointed out, “She’s gonna say whatever he’s been coaching her to say.”
