New legal documents obtained by TMZ state that Teyana Taylor has made some alleged claims about Iman Shumpert’s parenting skills.
According to the report, Taylor is claiming that Shumpert ignores the safety of their children when he has them and allegedly smokes marijuana and is under the influence when they are in his care. As more information about their divorce becomes public, Taylor also claims the former NBA star doesn’t feed their children properly. In the report, Taylor did detail a certain situation that allegedly took place where she claims Shumpert put their kids in a ride share in Chicago and had their kids dropped off at the United Center alone while he had a driver take him to the arena separately.

In these allege documents Taylor basically sums of the whole situation as Shumpert “consistently demonstrating a clear disregard for the safety of the minor children.” As we previously reported, Shumpert responded to some of Taylor’s claims in early December and denied all claims that he cruelly mistreated Teyana Taylor throughout their marriage.
When the news first hit the public. Taylor first filings detailed some of the things that went on during their marriage. In the filing she says her ex-husband was jealous of her career. She also added that Shumpert would get mad sometimes when they attend public events and photographers would only want a picture of Teyana. Along with that, the “You’re Gonna Love Me’ singer, detailed how he was allegedly insecure about being her man.
Teyana stated that she initially wanted to keep the divorce private, using initials in the filing, but Shumpert’s recent filing included full names, bringing the situation into the public eye.
Taylor announced their separation in September, clarifying that “infidelity” wasn’t a reason for their departure. She now seeks temporary and permanent primary physical custody of their two children, joint legal custody, and child support, stating that Shumpert left the family home in October and hasn’t spent significant time with their kids since then.

After the news hit the internet, Iman Shumpert seemingly reacted to the news by posting a photo of Joe Budden when he was in the pool staring at his phone. Now in a new update, Shumpert’s lawyer released a statement to TMZ and shared, “Mr. Shumpert hopes parties and counsel can work toward a fair resolution, keeping the best interests of the children of paramount concern.”
