DeskPop Entertainment has acquired the 80s-inspired slasher Camp Pleasant Lake and revealed its theatrical and VOD release date.
Camp Pleasant Lake Release Date
Directed by Thomas Walton, the story of Camp Pleasant Lake is about Rick and Darlene Rutherford. They attempt to breathe life into the eerie remnants of an old campsite. But they are unaware of its dark past. Now strange occurrences haunt the area, mirroring the tragedies of the old camp, where two decades earlier, a young girl was kidnapped and her parents brutally murdered. Amidst chilling atmospheres and long-forgotten secrets, the couple have a horrifying revelation—they are entwined in Camp Pleasant Lake’s history.
And as the shadows of the past collide with the present, the Rutherfords must face the haunting histories of a terrible crime.

There’s an interesting cast attached to Camp Pleasant Lake. The Nun herself Bonnie Aarons stars with Jerry Maguire and Stuart Little star Jonathan Lipnicki. The film also stars involved are Andrew Divoff (Wishmaster), Michael Paré (Streets of Fire), Kelly Lynn Reiter, Robert LaSardo (Death Race), Maritza Brikisak, and Greg Tally.
