“Vampire Diaries” star Paul Wesley and his former wife, Ines de Ramon, have finally settled their divorce one year after the actor took legal steps to dissolve their marriage.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the pair have reached a settlement and have both agreed in writing to resolve their dispute and move on with their lives.
Paul Wesley & Ines de Ramon Have Settled Their Divorce
Last year, we broke the news that Wesley had filed for divorce from de Ramon, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Now, a year later, the former lovers have both resolved their dispute.
The pair’s divorce is “uncontested,” which means that de Ramon and Wesley have both entered written agreements regarding their shared properties, domestic partnership rights, and other matters.
The court document states that “[Wesley & de Ramon] have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is being or has been submitted to the court.”
Since Wesley and de Ramon had no children during their marriage, there has been no legal fight over child custody or child support.
In September 2022, the former couple confirmed their breakup, with a rep for the actor stating: “The decision to separate is mutual and occurred five months ago. They request privacy at this time.”
The former couple’s separation did not come as a shock to fans of the pair as Wesley especially had been spotted on several occasions without his wedding ring.
Ines de Ramon Is Now Dating Brad Pitt
Prior to Wesley filing for divorce last year, there were already rumors that Hollywood star, Brad Pitt was dating his ex-wife de Ramon.
This rumor was eventually confirmed to be true, with de Ramona and Pitt even recently moving in together, showing how close they have grown in the past few months.
Sources told People magazine that the actor is “smitten” with de Ramon and now feels “on top of the world again.”
While describing their romance as a serious one, the source noted: “He is happy to live with her too. They were spending a lot of time at Brad’s. It only made sense for her to move in.”
De Ramon is Pitt’s “first girlfriend” since his turbulent divorce from his “Mr and Mrs Smith” co-star Angelina Jolie.
“Their relationship is serious. This is Brad’s first girlfriend since the divorce. He didn’t settle, and it’s paying off. He loves dating Ines,” the source added.
On the other hand, Wesley has not been romantically linked to anyone since his separation from de Ramon.
Ines de Ramon Helped Brad Pitt Find His ‘Spark Again’
Pitt and de Ramon were first spotted together in November 2022, with reports claiming they had been in a relationship for several months.
According to reports, the lovebirds were introduced by a mutual acquaintance, and they clicked right away. However, at the time, an insider close to the “Bullet Train” actor claimed that it was not an “exclusive relationship,” adding, “Ines is cute, fun, and energetic. She has a great personality. Brad enjoys spending time with her.”
Since then, the couple has moved their relationship forward, with the 60-year-old asking de Ramon to move in with him in Los Angeles and inviting her to several high-profile events.
A source emphasized Pitt’s happiness about dating de Ramon to People, stating that he is “very happy and loves spending time with her. Moving in together was a natural thing.”
“With Ines, he found his spark again. It’s truly amazing to see. Brad’s a great guy. He deserves to be happy,” the source added.
