A little more than a year ago, Narrow Head unveiled their third album, Moments of Clarity, which we named one of the best albums of 2023. Now, the Texas quintet will release a deluxe edition, and it comes with a cover of ’90s NYHC crew Crown of Thornz’s “Love Sick.”
While Moments of Clarity generally had Narrow Head vocalist/guitarist Jacob Duarte pouring sweetness onto the mic, the Houston hardcore veteran — and Skourge member — goes full-throated like Crown of Thornz’s own Lord Ezec (aka Danny Diablo) on this equally bouncy take on the 1996 original.

The deluxe edition of Moments of Clarity pairs the original 12-song album with Narrow Head’s NYHC tribute, the band’s 2022 single “T.W.I.N.”, and a series of remixes from Lil Aaron, atlgrandma, Pictureplane, TRANS FX, stripmallravestarrr, and cole3k.
A CD/DVD version of the reissue also includes music videos and the band’s full Pure. Coherent. Lucidity live studio session. Physical and digital versions arrive May 3 via Run For Cover Records, and can be preordered here.
