Brittany and Jax Were “Officially Trying” for Baby No. 2 Before Split

Brittany Cartwright is seen confirming her plans for a second child in a sneak peek at the April 23 episode of Vanderpump Rules.

As her now-estranged husband, Jax Taylor, 44, clapped back at cheating rumors Katie Maloney, 37, had mentioned on a previous episode, Brittany, 35, visited Scheana Shay, 38. And after Scheana confirmed she was not planning to get pregnant because she didn’t want to “chance dying,” Brittany revealed she and Jax were ready for baby number two.

“This month we are officially trying,” Brittany said in a clip shared by Bravo.

Elsewhere, Jax arrived at James Kennedy‘s home, where they looked to a then-upcoming event at SUR.

“Is my best friend Katie going to be there?” Jax asked. “Apparently, Katie is telling everybody now that I cheated on my wife. Is she that pissed off that she can’t f*ck any more of her ex-husband [Tom Schwartz]’s friends so he has to come after me? Because she can’t f*ck me?”

While Brittany and Jax are currently separated and no longer living together, she has remained close to the Pump Rules cast, especially Scheana and Lala Kent, 33.

“I’m closer to Lala and Scheana than probably anyone else and Tom Schwartz,” Brittany revealed to The Daily Dish on April 18. “They’re probably the closest in my life.”

She’s also in touch with Ariana Madix, 38, who has reached out to her amid her split from Jax.

“Ariana’s been checking in on me from New York and that means a lot to me ‘cause I know she’s so busy with the show and stuff, but she’s definitely been checking in on me,” Brittany stated, also saying she has “love for all of them” and confirming that they frequently get their children together.

“Nothing’s changed there—whatsoever, just ‘cause we don’t film together, we’re all still best friends,” Brittany said.

During the same interview, Kristen said that when it comes to the Pump Rules cast, she loves “most of them.”

“I’m not as close to everybody as I used to be, but that’s OK because lives are changing,” she noted, stating that she’s currently closest to Ariana, Scheana, and Schwartz.

“Katie lives down the hall from me,” Kristen shared. “We’re not super close, but we’re — like, I still care about her deeply.

As for her boyfriend, Luke Broderick, who splits his time between California and Colorado, Kristen said he’s “mostly” in Los Angeles.

“We’re kinda figuring that [out] temporarily and then aware that we need to sort of figure out and have that major talk where we set our roots and where are we gonna be,” she explained. “We’ve already bought a lot together in Indiana. It’s in his Dad’s neighborhood, so we’re like maybe we’ll knock some trees down and build.”

In addition to putting work in on their new property, Kristen and Luke are also trying to start a family.

“We’re back on the train working on it, so fingers crossed that we get good news some time soon,” she added.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo, followed by The Valley season one at 9/8c.
