“With ‘Look At Me’ I wanted to make a heavy hitter record for the OG Nostalgix fans,” the Canadian DJ, producer and rapper explained in a statement. “The record was inspired by ’90s rave and breakdance culture. Following the success of my last EP and tour, I wanted to let loose and play around with making music.”
