Madonna has responded to a shocking lawsuit where fans accused her of not starting her concerts on time.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Madonna stated that her true fans are aware of her tendency to start her concerts late and understand that the time listed on tickets is not a definitive sign of when she will begin performing. In the legal documents, Madonna’s legal team is requesting that this lawsuit be tossed.

“If a fan is familiar enough with Madonna’s concert history to know her performances run for two hours and fifteen minutes, that fan would surely know that Madonna typically takes the stage well after the ticketed event time (after an opening act, set transition, and so on) and plays late into the night.”
Madonna’s reaction follows a class action lawsuit filed earlier this year by a fan who alleged that she did not begin her performances for the December 2023 Celebration Tour shows in Brooklyn until 10:30 p.m., which was two hours behind schedule. In response to the lawsuit, Madonna and her team explained that the delayed start of the December 13 show was caused by a technical problem during soundcheck, which was widely covered in the media at that time.

Recently, Madonna has been confronted with yet another legal challenge, as a fan filed a lawsuit last week alleging that the singer compelled attendees of her Celebration Tour performances in California to witness “sexual acts” on stage and exposed audiences to “pornographic content without prior notice.”
